Construction on the new facility for the 125 children in the Carrefour Children's Home is underway. Just building the fence around the property is a major project that provides employment for dozens of people. To give you an idea what these local people have done so far:
- Moved and placed by hand 275 cu yards of rock (large stones)
- Moved and used 118 cu yards of sand
- Hauled and used 10,000 gallons of water
- Moved and used 40 cu yards of gravel
- Used 2.4 tons of rebar
In addition gates, both large and small, have been fabricated and are ready to install as soon as the fence is completed.
Work is progressing toward a safe, clean place where the children living there will have an opportunity to grow up and live lives as godly men and women and change their world.
We could use your help. The project is 50% funded and your gift will help assure that the project will be completed in a timely fashion
