June 26,2011 - Promotion 2010-2011 of Boyer sewing class are graduated today, Sunday June 26, 2011. 31 young ladies and 2 young men got their diploma in presence of parents, friends in Boyer. The 33 graduate students wear dress that they made as graduation final exam to file past the graduation room for appreciation of the 150 guests of the ceremony.
All the dresses were nice and well made. It took them 9 months to learn sewing as a profession. From today they are ready to be in business to find a job or to open their own business.
The first laureate is one of the two boys and his name is Emilode Lafalaise, the second laureate is Magalie Pierre and the third one is Edeline Fleurinor.
The ceremony started at 10:30 Am to end around one o’clock. It was a rich and long graduation ceremony with speeches, diploma, dance, sings, pictures, etc…
Linda from Star of hope America was present; she comes in Haiti just to take part to the graduation. She has been involved to make Boyer sewing project a reality. From the beginning to the end she was making funds-raising, collecting materials to support sewing class. Her constant effort and commitment to make it a successful project is priceless. She helped to design diploma, to make books, to print picture and documents for the sewing project. It is time to thank all star of hope donors that have given contribution to support this project in the benefits of ladies and boys that are graduated today. Without Donors in US and in Sweden the sewing class will not be possible. Thank you again to you all!
