God is good all the time and all the time God is good.
The year 2021 ended well for our projects and our outlook for 2022 is positive. Despite the many natural and political disasters we endured, God saw us through it all. Our donors stayed true to their giving commitments and our project workers stayed the course to provide services to our children and their families. With your generosity, Christmas was a joyful and blessed time for our children. TOGETHER we made this world a better place in 2021. Let's do it again in 2022!
Highlight Kenya
Thank you for caring about the well-being of our children and communities. Through your generous support, we have been able to continue to provide the 10 o'clock porridge and 12- noon lunch to 1,400 children across our four school projects in Kenya. Thank you for your great support.
Our vegetable farm in Mikindani, Kenya has continued to produce vegetables for both lunches in the school feeding program and to sell to the local people.
The sale of vegetables generates income to support school programs.
The October Pastoral Care Program was all about leadership training for teachers, parents, and staff from all the Star of Hope Kenya School projects. The two-day training was facilitated by Pastor Tobias Odipo and His wife Natalie Odipo. The theme of the session was, "How to raise children to become Godly children". They taught about connecting children to God through teaching them how to love and care for others.
Technology lessons have become a main and integral part of the learning experience in our schools. Through your support, our children are now enhancing their learning experience by using the computers in our schools to complete tasks.
God has been good to multiply the works of our hands and your generous hearts.
