A Mother's Day greeting from the children of Jeanton
It was not only in the USA that Mother's Day was recently celebrated.
Prior to the big day, the children at Star of Hopes preschool in Jeanton Haiti had spent weeks preparing presents for their mothers. This was, in many ways, the children's own idea, because when some of them had leftover Christmas materials to make necklaces, then by sharing the other children would, of course, be involved too. Therefore, Star of Hope's donated beads, ribbons, colorful paper and other things that boosted children's creativity.
The result of this we see here:
Beautiful necklaces, roses and mother's day cards that these children can now proudly show to their parents.
In addition, they had learned a new song to honor their mothers, and they sang to a full school when the moms visited.
Thank you very much for your giving that made this happy day possible!
