Joyful greetings to you as I present the Star of Hope and Tent Missions Christmas gift catalog.
Thanks to you, we celebrate many achievements during this difficult time. We have been able to deliver food, blankets, and school lunches. Additional feeding programs have been developed. New centers have opened. Much joy, love, and hope have been spread, thanks to you.
Here is our 2020 Christmas Gift Guide. With over 50 years of walking alongside children, helping them break the chains of poverty, we can, with confidence, share that the Christmas gifts this year are needed more than ever! Please look at the catalog and know that the children are counting on all of us to send Christmas joy their way.
In Romania, the “Pay it Forward” program has helped many families experience joy and a bit of income from the goat milk. Goats also provide an economic safety-net.
In Haiti, the chickens have provided the opportunity to teach animal responsibilities to countless children who share the eggs with other children and families. The eggs are a vital protein food source for the people.
In Ghana, we planted thousands of mango trees, and soon the fruit will come in as a cash crop. The children will learn many lessons from tending the trees, such as farming, tree care, and soon marketing and selling the mangos.
The examples above share some common traits; children, Pay it Forward, education, and rewards. The programs give knowledge and training now and hope for a better future, a joyful future.
