Good news a new school building is almost ready! Yet, it is still homeschooling that applies to students in our schools in the tightly closed pandemic hit Philippine capital Manila with surrounding municipalities.
Despite this pandemic, construction is continuing on our new school building in Taytay, which will soon be completed. The new building will primarily accommodate students from grades 11 and 12, which are the new grades for complete schooling. Historically the Philippines did not match the 12-year grade school calendar but they are moving to that system, so we were short some classrooms.
There is some small work and details that must be fixed and adjusted before the building is finished, but we hope to get it ready and approved by the academic year 2021-22 starts after the summer.
A new better entrance has also been built at the school entrance.
Many thanks to everyone who has been involved in developing the school in Taytay. It gives children the opportunity to get their entire education from preschool up to the final year of high school at the same school. It gives children and their families security for the future.
