We at Star of Hope encourage you to visit your sponsor child as long as it is safe.
Nothing is better than getting together in person. Every year many of our sponsors visit their sponsored children and their families. It is a great event for both you as a sponsor and for the child and families. The meeting is often a strong emotional experience for everyone involved and a memory for life.
What if we actually form friendships? Would it not improve the life of all?
If you've decided to visit your sponsored child the trip has to be planned well in advance, in order to be sure that the visit is the experience you hope for.
Contact Star of Hope in advance of your planned trip, at least two months or more. Together with our staff on-site in the project country and you, we may then jointly plan the visit, to suit both them and you.
