Star of Hope has several projects and initiatives in different countries.
Here's a summary of the projects and their associated costs as of April 1, 2023:
Argentina
- 2 modules for women's and men's toilets and a disabled toilet
- A computer room.
- 3 classrooms
- 1 covered patio outside the vocational school
- Renovation of the facilities that already exist.
- Renovation of the fence around the vocational school
- Level the ground around the vocational school to avoid flooding.
Total cost: $152,000
Belarus
- No new projects for now.
Brazil
- The new center in Montes Claros: Missing toilets, place for snacks, kitchen, office and more.

Philippines
- Roof over the basketball court: $56,000
- Library with books for Junior High School
- Science laboratories complete with equipment (Microscopes, test tubes)
- Computer laboratory with 15 computers
- Computers for Infanta.

Ghana
- School materials and teacher's materials for all 6 schools (seasonal): $35,000
- Bio-gas toilets in Osae Krodua: $3,850
- New proper toilets are needed in Osae Krodua. When regular gas has become so expensive, they want to build a toilet that extracts gas from the compost from the toilets.
- New toilet building in Pechi: $8,750
- The number of toilets is extremely limited, and a new toilet building is needed.
- All 6 schools need playground equipment: $6,500
- Playground equipment for all preschools so that the children can play outdoors.
- School canteen in Gomoa Dominase: $1000
- TV sets for 5 schools – $6,900
- According to the school system, there must be a television in every preschool classroom. One school already has televisions in every classroom, but five schools need new sets.
- Water station at the school in Kobeng – $3,800
- New water station is needed at the school in Kobeng. Now they fetch water some distance away. Well drilling, plastic tank and installation.
Haiti
Things that are needed for several or all projects, or that are needed for several or all children.
A solid wooden school desk for three children: $230
Teacher training per teacher for 14 days: $690
Computers for the schools' IT education: $800/computer.
Solar panel battery for the schools' solar cell system: $290
Solar system for a school: $7,975

Internet per school ongoing cost: $1,80/month.

Tools for "Tool bank" per school.
50 units with 6 pcs. work tools + 10 wheelbarrows: $7500
The tools are axes, machete, small scythe, large scythe, pruning hook, and spade.
School Library: $283,800. To be developed. We are thinking about and pushing for this in the autumn.
