Thank be to God that the super typhoon "Maysak" that passed over northern Philippines this weekend weakened from a super storm to just a tropical storm. Star of Hope has projects and schools in the area. We know that many live in poorly constructed buildings. Our experience teaches that extreme flooding and destruction from a typhoon such as this one is probable, but the people were spared.
Today’s technology is just awesome now we can see the scope of super storms from space, in this photograph from the International Space Station it looks like it covers a great deal of the earth. This is awesome destructive power.
Here is the path of the storm:

Join us in prayer that the area continues to be protected!
Disasters can strike anytime, help us be prepared to give fast relief in the places we historically work.
