Here at home, we know there is nothing quite like a community coming together for a big weekend celebration—the kind where neighbors pitch in, tractors get to work, and kids can’t stop smiling.
Thousands of miles away in northern Argentina, one of our long-term ministry partners is getting ready to host a celebration on that exact same scale.
Missionary Pablo Johansson and his team are putting the final touches on a massive Children’s Day Celebration this Saturday, and we are thrilled to share a window into the incredible work happening on the ground.
Big Hearts, Big Numbers
Preparing a party for an entire region takes a whole lot of heart—and a lot of prep work!
Thanks to a local municipality that loaned the team a tractor to clear and mow the grounds, the event site is officially ready to welcome over 1,000 children and family members.
Here is a quick look at what it takes to throw a party of this size:

500 Liters of Hot Chocolate: Whipped up fresh to keep everyone warm and energized.

1,200 Sweet Pastries: Baked and ready to share with every child in attendance.

Sowing Seeds of Hope
While the hot chocolate, games, and bicycles bring plenty of excitement, the core mission behind the gathering goes much deeper.
