This site is designed to help you navigate through the Short Term Mission (STM) concept. It contains resources to help you understand the process from the inception of the idea in your mind all the way through to getting on the plane making the flight to the destination country. Many of the links are from the Southern Nazarene University missions department and their professor of missions and world evangelism, Howard Culbertson. There might be some issues or nuances that are unfamiliar to you or with which you even disagree. There is no attempt to proselytize but rather to give you as much information as possible to make it the best trip possible if you decide to travel. There is a tremendous amount of information and this writer encourages you to read with an open mind. Glean what you can use and let the rest go.
