Good News: Thanks to you; Star of Hope is changing nations.
Recently we inaugurated our new resource center for vulnerable children in Husi, Romania.
For 30 years, Star of Hope has been proactive in abolishing the institutions in which some children with disabilities were locked up during the communist era.
We support:
6 rehabilitation centers
2 centers for socially vulnerable children
5 resource and education centers
14 parent associations and national parents' federation
The center was renovated with the support of the Huși Municipality, and the project is part-financed by the EU. The project manager for the entire municipal center is Star of Hope Romania.

Good News: Thanks to YOU, Star of Hope recently transported and delivered food and hygiene products to all Star of Hope Haiti schools, and all the kids were able to receive school supplies.
Inspection and follow-up visits will start soon. Most of the children wear masks and all teachers have taken hygiene and social distancing measures to protect children from the spread of COVID-19. Through the health and hygiene program, we supplied each school with cleaning materials, a sanitation station for washing hands, and a thermometer to take the students’ temperatures at the school entrance. We make sure the kids always have access to handwashing facilities and safe drinking water.
Good News: Thanks to YOU, another water well was drilled in Marigot, Haiti, recently. Easy as 1 2 3
Today, water is available in the community of Marigot at four locations in villages 1mile from each other. One of the wells is in the schoolyard for the exclusive use of the school and church members. The other wells are placed in three of the poorest areas of Marigot to serve the community. Star of Hope aims to drill a total of 6 wells in Marigot to serve the 10,000 people who live there. We are still looking for funds to drill the two remaining wells to meet the water needs of the population.
