Star of Hope's Maria Presson spoke about the work in Haiti at First Christian Church, Great Bend Kansas on Sunday the 12 of February. On the 13th of February she also had the pleasure to speak at the Heritage Club in Ellinwood about Star of Hope's work worldwide.

Volunteer contributions are so significant that I cannot thank them enough. They fill roles that we would normally have to pay to fill. This effectively makes each donation work harder.

Volunteers man the phones, stuff envelopes, provide technical services and training. They also present the work of Star of Hope in their personal circles. The last week of January, Marita Good, from Sweden gave us a week off technical training in our Adobe products. She spent the week working hands on with Linda Borror our staff member who works to produce the news letters and brochures. Marita's willingness to help as a volunteer, saved us at least the $1,500 which it would have cost to send Linda to a week long course.Plus together, the projects they used for learning are live projects. You will see their work in the coming months.

 Thank you again to Marita and all the volunteers who bring so much to help the children around the world.
